當地時間8月21日，國傢主席習近平抵達南非約翰內斯堡，參加22日至24日的金磚國傢領導人第十五次會晤並對南非進行國事訪問。在南非期間，習近平主席還將同拉馬福薩總統共同主持中非領導人對話會。

本期vlog中，中國日報記者小彭來到瞭有著“彩虹之國”之稱的南非，深切感受當地的熱烈氛圍和南非人民的熱情友好。 時隔五年，金磚峰會再次走進非洲 來自世界四大洲的5個國傢——巴西、俄羅斯、印度、中國、南非，英文名稱首字母連起來是“BRICS”，正好與英文單詞“磚”相近，因而被稱為金磚國傢。每年一會晤，五國輪流辦。 今年，金磚峰會時隔五年再次走進非洲。本次會晤以“金磚與非洲：深化夥伴關系，促進彼此增長，實現可持續發展，加強包容性多邊主義”為主題，各方將就當前國際形勢中的突出挑戰深入交換意見，深化金磚國傢在經貿、金融、安全、人文、全球治理等領域的務實合作。

This year's summit theme is "BRICS and Africa: Deepening Partnerships, Promoting Mutual Growth, Achieving Sustainable Development, and Enhancing Inclusive Multilateralism".

“我的南非之旅從融入當地人開始” 為瞭完美融入當地，小彭找瞭傢理發店做起瞭非洲辮的發型。一位理發店的當地人在和小彭的聊天中提到，他最近一直在關註中國的發展，對中國的快速發展很感興趣，也很想知道非洲國傢如何也能夠高速發展。

You know I’ve been just following about China lately because I can see how China is developing very quickly, so yeah, we’re interested. And also involving Africa to those kinds of improvements.

曼德拉廣場 為瞭紀念廢除瞭種族隔離制度的代表性領袖納爾遜·曼德拉（Nelson Mandela），南非在約翰內斯堡修建瞭曼德拉廣場（Mandela Square）。

Mandela Square in Johannesburg pays homage to Nelson Mandela, the iconic leader who helped end apartheid, making it a powerful symbol of South Africa's journey from oppression to freedom.

在曼德拉廣場，小彭遇到瞭參加此次金磚峰會活動的青年代表，他們在和小彭的聊天中表示：

我很期待在這裡能瞭解到更多金磚五國在氣候方面的工作進展。如我們所見，中國在此次峰會中參與度非常之高。你開車穿過裡沃尼亞路的時候，肯定能看見很多南非國旗和中國國旗都交叉在一起。 I’m very excited to learn more about climate work that is happening across the BRICS. As you can see, China is very involved in the summit. I’m sure that as you were driving along the road of Rabonia road, you saw that South African and Chinese flags all going across.
